Layla Shaikh, VMD, DACVR
Radiologist
Dr. Shaikh is a board-certified diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Radiologists. She has offered global teleradiology services and ultrasonography services to the northern Atlanta region since 2015. She is an active member of the ACVR, most recently speaking at the annual conference about her experiences partnering with specialized sonographers. Additionally she has lectured at numerous CE conferences, including the Gulf Coast Atlantic Veterinary Conference and the Florida Veterinary Medical Association Conferences, as well as local CE events covering a variety of topics. Brandon Pogue, DVM, DACVIM
Cardiologist
Dr. Pogue earned his DVM from the University of Georgia in 2008, completed a rotating internship at Purdue University, and a cardiology residency at the University of Florida, becoming board-certified in 2012. He resides in Alpharetta, GA, with his wife Eryn (also a veterinarian), their two children, and two cats.
His clinical focus is echocardiography, specifically on congenital disease and canine cardiomyopathies. From 2012 to 2019, he established a successful cardiology program in Atlanta, leading to SEVC’s mission to provide timely consultations and support to the local veterinary community.

Every echocardiogram is performed by a board-certified cardiologist who will directly examine your patient and provide a real-time answer to your cardiology-related concerns.

Echocardiograms use a GE Vivid IQ – the newest generation of portable cardiac-specific ultrasound available for both humans and animals.

At the time of the consultation, we will discuss the results/interpretation in-person with the primary care veterinarian and help directly guide care at the time of consultation and with future questions.

A full written report (with diagnosis, detailed disease information/client education, treatment, and follow-up information) is emailed within 48 hours – helping you most easily get results as soon as possible.
Kahrma Wagner, DVM, MS, DACVS
Board-Certified Veterinary Surgeon
Dr. Wagner was raised in Indiana and completed her Bachelor of Science at the University of Florida in 1998. She earned her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine in 2002. During her time at UFCVM, she was Class President and Vice President of the Student Chapter of the American Veterinary Medical Association.
Dr. Wagner completed a private practice rotating internship in the Chicago Area at VCA Franklin Park and VCA Berwyn Animal Hospitals. Dr. Wagner was awarded the Intern of the Year Award in 2003. After completing her
Following her residency, Dr. Wagner and her husband moved to the Atlanta area in 2007. For the past 17 years, she has been performing soft tissue, oncologic, orthopedic, and neurologic procedures for patients in the Northern Atlanta region. Dr. Wagner joined Moves in early 2025 and looks forward to offering her surgical skills throughout the Greater Atlanta Metro.
